Hi!!

I am new to the boards and just wanted to say hi.
I went to the BICU as a new grad 6 years ago. I left after 7 months because of the swing shifts- day/night/afternoon rotations were killing me. I have since worked in ER and PACU as well as at a prison.
I accepted a position today in the same BICU, full time night shift. The only thing I am really worried about is the night shift! I work days now, 3 12's from 5:30A-6P or 6A-6:30P. I am more of a night person anyways and sleeping is not something I do on a regular basis.
I hope I am able to adjust to nights. I'm doing 2 8's and 2 12's. Wish me luck!! I start in November.
