Does anyone know where there is a website that offers specific classes for continuing education for correctional nurses? If it is against the rules to post web links here, my email is bearysweet35@yahoo.com
Thank you
monica

I believe this is one I took free a few years back....now nursing spectrum charges for it but it would be worth it.....really, really good stuff. Like why correctional nursing is the only specialty specifically governed by an ammendment to the constitution of the US and why.

I'm a CCHP and have to take 32 units related to correctional nursing every 2 years. (so much for the '30 units for $29.95' schools)
I have found the www.nchc.org site useful. They publish a magazine quarterly, or on line, and have 3-5.5 units available in quarter. The test is on the articles in the magazine and the cost $20.00/test.
