What's it like?

Since I am beginning a new job in corrections working in a medium security institution with a large psychiatric population, I am eager to hear from other nurses about their experiences in corrections. I work in Ohio.

Best job I ever had!! work is not hard,
frustrating at times but not hard. pay is
good. I left a hospital job at $10.03/hr to start at $11.89/hr in the prison system. now 9years later my pay is over $28./hr
As far as I am concerned, Correctional nursing is the best kept secret!
