I work for one in my state. If we move away I wondered who else would be good to work for. Any input would be appreciated.

Hi Tammy if you are moving anyway...have you thought about actually working for the california corrections system? The benefit (retirement) is great and the pay increase was pretty substantial, I don't work for them anymore but I hear they are still looking for nurses, try their website...good luck!

Also if you work as a nurse for The Pa DOC, uou are a state employee with excellent benifits and a defined retirerment system . You can retire after 20 years employment and age 50 or > and receive full retirement with healthcare
