West Virginia Correction

I used to work perdimun at Mount Olive Prison in WV. I finnally quite because of the low pay for perdium and the travel was too far, but far as work load it was not all that bad. I am working at a Local hospital nights 23.40 plus Night dif = 24.00. Can any Prison with driving distance of Charleston/Huntington area of West Virginia match it. I am a experienced nurse and retired from the military and seeking information about federal correctional. I have heard that my time in the service would be a big plus for benifits. Thanks I need info.
