I was wondering what the CMS salary is like for an LPN @ a MD prison, i've read that they can be pretty low, i already make $17.50/hr @ a long term care facility, i know it won't be that much but i wanted to be prepared for how low it might be, please help?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Florida, I was told the salary was ~ $15 - $16 per hour. Not near enough.

In west Texas the pay is $16-$19/hour. The key is in negotiation IF your area is short nurses. Try this....Don't ask what the pay is but TELL them what pay you require.

In MA starting LPN pay at CMS is $17.50 and RN pay is $21.00 per hour.
