Insurance Companies drive medical costs

The insurance companies blame the high cost of medical care on doctors, but get this: There is a local attorney who takes all inmate lawsuits even if he knows he will lose. He doesn't even bother to check and see if the inmate is telling the truth or if they actually have a case. He just files it. The reason?, he will fight the insurance company for his expenses, (even though they did not hire him) for so long that they end up paying him to cut the costs of the fight. Just recently this same atty. spent 6 months being a pain in the back side of the ins company and they got sick of it and paid him. The inmate got nothing of course, except to be able to tell other inmates that he won. That makes it look like the Doctor and or the Nurse did something wrong. "Oh, they settled out of court". This just burns me and makes me want to quit. What do you think?
