Emergency treatment protocols

What is your state's policy on emergency procedures for inmates and employees? Our policy is so vague on this issue that leaves alot of discretion to the nurse managers.

Do inmates have to be brought to Medical for emergency treatment or are the nurses expected to go to the dorms and/or compound?

If they normally have to be brought to Medical, are there any exceptions to this?

Do you provide any care (Even if limited) to security and/or non-uniformed staff members (i.e., teachers, counselors, maintenance, etc.)? If so, to what extent?

Do you find that even though certain things are in policy, your institutional warden expects more from Medical than is by-policy required?
