Thumbs up Corrections Opening

Is anyone looking for an opportunity in Corrections in CT? I heard through the grapevine that there are some spots open. Let me know if you're interested and I can put you in touch with the right people.

Re: Corrections Opening

I used to be very interested in becoming a Nurse Practitioner in a correctional facility. Now I'm leaning more towards a CRNA. But, I am still considering corrections. I head theat the salary for an NP in a correctional facility is upwards of 150K and, with the exception of rare instances of violence and theft of used syringes, it is generally safe. Can anyone confirm the salary and/or safety of being the NP in a jail or prison?
