In the PA DOC, there are certain facilities where the inmates recive their dialysis on site. If an inmate at a SCI and they are not at one of the facilities where dialysis is performed, they will be transfered to a facility that can meet their need. It is a security risk to send i/m out of the facilities to recive dialysis, since the i/m would know when they are reciving the facility and where they are going. The dialysis nurses that provide dialysis on site are contract employees and come to our facility 3x per week.

Same in Delaware. They used to be all housed in the infirmary as well, not in general population, not sure if that still stands.
