I really liked the work and I would love to work with the sheriff's dept any time, even the staff was not bad. I was just the sneaky way the admin. let the LPN's do all the foot work the make it seem that we were not a vital part of the team when in essence we were the team. When the RN's couldn't draw blood or do screens or even change a bandaid,God forbid they would have to pass meds. Yes cut cost, not order meds keep inmates when they needed Hospital care are a high concern for me.
I was very blessed to have the experience It truely helped with my nursing diversity
God is all thing big and small

I liked my job there, but I did not agree with their way of running things. They did anything to save money. They would deny procedures and more expensive medications to save money. They pushed their doctors to see more inmates in a shorter time.I would not work for them again.
