Anybody get CCHP certified yet ???
CCHP = Certified Correctional Health Proffesional
The test is a killer, multiple choice and essay (10 if I remember right) questions.

I am working on my Nursing Certification for corrections right now. This is through Canyon University. What are the prereq's for the certification you are referring to?

Big difference between Canyon College "certificate" and NCCHC certification.

The essay questions were quite a challenge. Not as easy to answer as they first appear. Tell us more about the Canyon College Certification thingy please.

If you know the NCCHC standards it isn't that bad of a test but it is going to get worse next time. It will be proctored and you will have to take it with people watching you instead of being independent. I took the test two years ago and I am glad I did and I will make sure that I will keep mine current. It just jacks my jaws that they want soo much money for the renewal for what and do we get paid for it???????? Hell no just a burden that we have to continue to bear...

Could someone please tell me how to get the correctional care nursing certification. I was unaware that there was such a certification. Costly? thanx
