Hello all,
I have seen many posts regarding correctional nursing, but I am wondering if anyone has any specific information on the Tehachapi facility of CA corrections? Not the money so much, as that has been well covered, but the general working conditions, overcrowding issues, lockdown concerns etc. Any comments, advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I personally have never worked at Tehachapi, but have a friend who went there twice as agency. She loved it. The staff were easy to work with. She only left because they are fully staffed with state nurses now, some of whom were agency nurses originally. Hope that is somewhat useful.
