Scared please help!!!

Ok I don't know if this is where I should be posting this question, but here goes. I had a mammogram a few weeks ago that came back suspicious. My doctor immediately scheduled me for a breast ultrasound which still was not conclusive. Now I am going in for a biopsy and I am scared and nervous. My grandmother passed away from breast cancer so I do have family history. Although I don't smoke anymore I did which also increases my risk. My question is does anyone know what the chances are that I have this biopsy and that the results be in my favor? Wish me luck and say a prayer.

Thanks!!!!

Your doctor should be able to answer these questions better. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Please let us know how it goes.

Re: Scared please help!!!

Hello, LatinGirl,

I know you are very anxious about all of this. Please pose these specific questions to your PCP. As you are aware, the members here cannot offer any medical advice or give you any percentages.

Please know that you are in my prayers and that we all care here at allnurses.com.
