Can a radiology tech hook tubing from power injector of CT to patient IV under supervision of MD? This is in NY State -

I am in Texas, but our rad techs always hook the injector tubing to the iv's without supervision.

In Oz the radiographers hook up the injectors, but there is always a radiologist or icu or ed doc (depending where the pt originates from)
