Re: Working in the U.S.

Hi Suzanne4 and everyone here,

I am new here and just want to get some suggestions from u. Thanks!

I am a new RN and just graduated in an english college in quebec. I want to work in NY in 1 or 2 yrs and maybe move to CA or FL after 5 yrs. I was a resident in Canada and now I am a canadian. My question is:
Should I get my initial license in MN or VT (maybe faster to sit in the nclex exam) first and endorse it to NY after, OR I just apply in NY directly for nclex exam and get the license in NY? Thanks.

Any advices or suggestion are appreciated.
