GREETINGS FROM NORTHERN ONTARIO. GRADUATED FROM ST MICHAEL'S SCHOOL OF NURSING IN TORONTO.CELEBRATED MY 40TH YEAR IN NURSING IN MAY!!! THE CHANGES IN MY PRACTICE HAVE BEEN SO PHENOMENAL IN THOSE YEARS. WHAT A WONDERFUL CHOICE OF CAREER. LOVED EVERY MINUTE AND I ALWAYS SAID I WOULD GO TO WORK EVEN IF THEY DIDN'T PAY ME. FINALLY RETIRED IN JULY 2005. STILL MISSING AND LOVING NURSING.

Re: Where are you from?

I'm a US born, raised and trained RN who has been in nursing *cough* years and have been on the South Shore in Nova Scotia since 1999.

Any other NS nurses out there?

Re: Where are you from?

i'm from Ontario, Canada. I've been an RN since 1996. I'm currently working two part time jobs. One in Oncology/Palliative Care and my second part time job is in LTC. I like both.

Smile Re: Where are you from?

Originally from Ottawa and Stirling, Ontario. Took training at AHP and AHE to become an RPN. Then went to GMCC for the RN.

Have lived the last 13 years in Phili, but now thinking of moving back to be with my 3 old nephew and because I have never written the NCLEX. I have a PA license and if I had a permanent visa there would not be a problem.
