I watched "Shipping News" tonight with Kevin Spacey, Julianne Moore, Cate Blanchett , and Judi Dench.

It was filmed in Newfdland, and N.S. The scenery was outstanding, and it was a pretty good movie..the guys would like it too I think....R rated....

Thought I'd share this info for any Canadian Nurses who have been there.

My honey lives in NFLD....and its beautiful there....whales and puffins and a little wild still.....

It was a great movie! Of course i'm biased because i was born and raised in the southern coast of newfoundland. I moved to BC in 1994 to further my university & nursing career. Great place to visit often though, especially when you're from a family of 10!
