I was hoping to find the increments in wage, particularly in Manitoba, but there is nothing that illustrates this.

Did you look on the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba website? On the home page there's a link to both their collective agreement and their wages and benefits...

In addition, the Manitoba nurses union's contract calls for a further increase effective October 1, 2008, to be determined by an independent arbitrator to ensure Manitoba nurses are in fourth place in Canada in terms of wages. (Alberta is the highest, followed by Ontario, and BC. For RNs. Historically Alberta has underpaid LPNs)

I understand that Saskatchewan just received good increase which puts them ahead of Manitoba, so there should be another increase in Manitoba this fall.

I just wanted to add that the link provided from the Manitoba Nursing Union only shows LPN's with various levels of nursing. I'm looking for RN's salary - is there anything data out there?

By any chance did you click on the link for collective agreements? MNU bargains for both LPN and RN contracts. The wages and benefits are easy to find, took me less than 30 seconds. General duty nurses are Nurse IIs, assistant head nurses and educators are Nurses IIIs. Their wages are listed directly below the LPNs. To make it easy for you:

They will be getting a 4.5% raise October 1, 2008. There are separate wages for nurses working in northern Manitoba, which you can also look at on the MNU site.
