I am trying to get reinstated as an RN in Ontario, after a 15 year hiatus raising my family. Has any one gone through this process? Neither the College or University in my small NW Ont. town deal with this issue.

I have been given a list of topics by the Ont. College of Nurses, the length of your arm, that I have to complete before I do a whooping 700 hours of clinical time. I am afraid I am becoming quite the pest at the C of N trying to get any needed information.

Does anyone know which Ont. Colleges/Universities have RN refresher courses that can be done through Distance Learning that is approved by the Col. of Nur. of Ont.
(St Lawrence College in Kingston shut off period is 10 years)

Try algonqiun college at www.algonquincollege.com they do various distant learning courses.
