Question Georgian College-RPN help!

I am seriously thinking about going into the RPN program at Georgian College! I am kind of worried though, because I am not particularly strong in "science" and the program is highly competetive. If my marks aren't very strong will they not accept me?! I would really appreciate it if someone who maybe has gone through this or something similar, would help me make this difficult decision. Or if you are currently in the program! Is it a heavy work load? Is it extremely difficult?

THANK YOU!
Nicole

Re: Georgian College-RPN help!

I graduated from the Georgian RPN course in August. I had to take my grade 12 chemistry and biology before I could get in but after that the science end of it wasn't too bad. I didn't find the workload too heavy but you have to keep on top of things, especially your reading.

You can PM me if you need any details. Good luck.

Re: Georgian College-RPN help!

Once you get your sciences done, whatever you require, it is not too bad. I found that there is quite a bit of math but it is not overly difficult. We had to write about 5 or 6 math tests that we needed to get 90% on during the first semester to stay in the program and most people passed them. I wonder, do other colleges do this also?
