Does the CNO accept an Excelsior degree?

I am a graduate of an ADN program in the States and recently moved to Ontario. I would like to obtain a BSN to be qualified to take the CRNE. Does anyone know if the CNO accepts Excelsior's Online BSN degree? Has anyone done this before? Thanks for yor help.

Have you looked at the numerous Excelsior threads already here? Maybe you could find your answer there.

You might want to look at other Canadian schools that offer a online version that are Canadian based. Not sure what exists in Ontario but Alberta has a school that is highly recognized for distance education called Athabasca University and they accept a state license RN as one of the requirements. I think they give you 60 credits as well as partial possible credit for other classes towards a BN degree (Bachelors in Nursing). Also the University of Victoria has a RN to BSN program that can be done on line and they allow you to do clinicals in your local area. I would think Ontario has something similar. Would be a lot cheaper than going to Excelsior.
