I also received mine today.
What a long wait!

I assumed it would have been quicker than that. Almost 7 weeks!

Quick question about the CRNE.. what does it test exactly...?

I went onto the website and it said it tests stuff like psychosocial aspects of human behaviour/professional growth/health and healing etc..

But my instructor said that it actually tests 5 subjects.
Medicine
Surgury
Ped's
Obgyn
Psychiatry

Thanks in advance

The CRNE tests all of those, with a good deal of emphasis on the psychosocial. There are a lot of "therapeutic communication" type questions. It seems as though once Canada's nursing colleges/associations started examining and implementing the baccalaureate as entry to practice, their focus shifted away from core nursing skills somewhat and moved toward management, administration and community health. The content of nursing school programs has followed that shift and there is much less emphasis on learning hands-on nursing skills. So I recommend that you not neglect the touchy-feely stuff you're being taught... you're going to need it to pass.

i just found out I did not passed the last oct 2006 crne, it was so devastating I was sooo depress thinking about the hard work I've done and still didn't work. I felt like I did not want to try it again because I have a hard time coping from failure. I need all your support. Thanks!
