Coming to vancouver .

Hello evryone
Iam a English psychiatric nurse and iam due to come to Vancouver in September to sit the exam. Can anyone give me advice and some help regarding the exam. Also i have seen a advert for help with the exan from John Collins who states that he will help you through the exam (for a fee of course) has any one heard of him or had dealings with him. And last of all what is Abbordsford like as i have been offered emplyment there.

Re: Coming to vancouver .

Have you ever been to the lower mainland?

Abbotsford is a suburb about 45 minutes (on a good traffic day) outside of Vancouver. It's traditionally been an agricultural community but with urban sprawl it's a commuters area. Ethically mixed community, I seem to remember some drug issues. But it also has a very old fashioned Christian community with strong views (I'm not talking Amish type, more Jim Baker fundamentalists)

How old are you, do you have a family? It would be best to live in the area, and yes, you will need a car.

Nah, I grew up in Vancouver and moved to the prairies.

Housing is slightly cheaper than the City but still expensive compared to the rest of the country.
