Can anyone clarify the difference between a BSN and a BScN. I notice that some schools, especially via distance learning offer one or the other. Is it really just the same thing? Thanks in advance for any replies.:confused:

both are University Baccalaureate Degrees

That is true. The other thing you may see is BN (Bachelors of Nursing). They are all bachelors of nursing degrees with different terminology.

Some universities have a Faculty of Nursing while in other universities a nursing degree program is offered through the Faculty of Science.

If the Bachelors degree in nursing is granted through the Faculty of Science of the university it is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, however if the degree is earned through the Faculty of Nursing then it is a Bachelor of Nursing degree.
