Re: BScN 2nd Degree Entry at York University

2nd entry programs build on previous university studies and usually have specific pre-requisite courses you must fulfill.
Collaborative programs are nursing programs run by college institutions, but since ONtario requires a university degree for entry to nursing practice, colleges have teamed up with universities to provide a "collaborative degree". They are usually four year programs aimed at students without previous college or university experience, however, it is possible to have a collaborative 2nd entry program.
My understanding is that clinical time is dependant on the particular school's curriculum and their relationship with various clinical placements.
York's application deadline was back in Feb. Have you heard yet?
Hope this answers your questions.
