hi, i am a UK reg nurse and wanting to relocate with family to canada, we like calgary area. I was wondering if there was anyone who could give me any bits of advice. I am interested in hearing if anyone has gone from a NICU in the UK to Canada and how it was with regards to registration and how easy it was to find the job? Is there a need for NICU nurses?

Also anyone with family who has emigrated, i have three little kids, oldest is 5 and realise that i would probably have to take full time employment to satisfy the work visa(i work part time here in UK)

Just interested to hear others view really that may have done it already. thanks a muchly.

I'm not an NICU nurse and I don't live in Calgary, but I can point you to this news story from a year ago about NICU nursing shortages... and things have not improved.
