Help, I have the opportunity of working in Abbotsford or at the BC childrens hosp Vancouver. Any one worked in the Abbotsford area and how does it compare to Vancouver. We are relocating to Canada BC at the end of the year, would welcome any advice re areas within British Columbia.

Never worked in Abbotsford, but I don't particularly like the city itself. I have worked at Women and Children's in Vancouver and LOVED it!!! It is still one of my favorite places. I was a patient there as well. When I worked there I lived in New Westminster and the drive wasn't bad at all.

When I lived in BC, we lived in Langley, then in Ladner. I worked at BCCH in the Emerg and LOVED my job there! People were great, very well staffed, and it was just an overall great job. This was several years ago now, as we moved cities since, but I've always wished I could have stayed there longer. I would strongly recommend it there. Hope this helps!
