EEEEK! this gives me the creeps. Jeffery Dalhmer had more rights when he was being prosecuted by the law than a nurse has when he/she is being prosecuted by the BON. But thanks for posting it anyway, I find it very educational.

it's encouraging for those nurses that shouldn't be, but highly discouraging for those nurses that have been wrongfully accused.

I was reported to my BON vindictively so I experienced firsthand what happens. It was quite an experience.

Luckily I was wise enough to get a nurse attorney in my corner from the getgo, and the outcome was good...the board threw the complaint out and expunged it from my record. Unfortunately this ugly incident keeps coming up on my Group One record but I have learned how to deal with it and not to let it get me down.

Accused does not necessarily mean guilty. I have to keep reminding some nurses of this....nurses can be hardest on each other.
