Nursing shortage prompts hospitals to offer new perks

Some hospitals in the Pasadena area are dangling some tantalizing prizes in front of nurses to lure them to fill crucial jobs, such as new cars, thousands of dollars in sign-on bonuses and beefed up benefits.
