What better way to show pride in your profession then to display RN on your Pennsylvania License Plate? PSNA would like to submit a request to the PA Department of Transportation to participate in the Commonwealth's Special Organization Plate Program. PSNA's name, RN, and some type of emblem will be placed on the plate. The emblem currently in mind for the plate would an oil burning lamp that so often symbolizes nursing. The PSNA special organization plate would only be available to members of current standing in the association. Before PSNA can contact the Department of Transportation, we must be able to guarantee a minimum of 300 PSNA organizational plate requests. Take pride in your organization and your profession and ACT NOW! For more information on the program and to sign up to show your interest in receiving a plate...

I no longer live in PA but I ABSOLUTLEY WOULD NOT want RN on my license plate or anywhere else on my car.

Have you not noticed (even in states where it is available) most MD's don't identify themselves this way. There is a reason.

These are called vanity plates for a reason. I take a great deal of pride in my profession, and I don't need display it in a way that makes me a target for strangers.

There are much better ways to show my pride. Like in my work.

I replied simply because I hope you might rethink. Just my opinion. No disrespect intended. I want you to stay safe.
