Conference attendees help plan future of nursing

More than 100 thought leaders in the nursing field met recently to identify key business needs, such as recruitment and retention strategies, work force diversity, and nursing students who can think critically and organize.

This is just some of what was gathered Dec. 3 at an invitation-only meeting of more than 100 nursing leaders and educators at Lankenau Hospital, Wynnewood, Pa. The conference, "Preparing the Nurses of the Future: Sharing the Challenges and Opportunities," was hosted by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Deans and Directors Alliance (SEPDDA)....

Right in my backyard!
Lankenau also held conference on Discharge Planning Transitions from Hospital to other Setting that I attended in December. Really on the move there.
