Opportunities abound as nursing attracts new candidates

Students and administrators in the accelerated program at St. Louis University's School of Nursing say growing opportunities in the field are leading more people to consider a career in nursing.

There was a great article in Pittsburgh Press about a new one year program Pitt is putting together for people who already have degrees. Sorry I could not locate it to post a link. I saved it and could mail it to Karen if she could figure out a way to post it. My daughter is very interested in it. I told her to wait at least two years and give them a chance to work out the kinks. There are bound to be some kinks. Like I said in another post, I have reservations about how much clinical experience a person would get in a one year program. However, I do not know enough to pass judgement.
