I am taking a Nursing class in which I have to write a letter to a legislature regarding a bill. I need to persuasively state my opinion on a current issue impacting nursing or health care and urge a specific action.....I am not a very political savvy person and am having a hard time finding a topic that I am write to someone about. I live in NY state and did find a site that I can search for bills on, however they are not written in layman's terms so I am having difficulty understanding what they are actually trying to say. ANYWAY just wondering if anyone could give me some ideas on an issue that I could look into? Any help would be greatly appreciated
