I have a question. Have you ever been named in a suit, in relation to your employment, as a nurse? I have. Once I was named, as was everyone who came near the patient, and I was later dropped from the suit. The second time I was named directly. And it took a year for the judge to finally dismiss it. The first time the patient truly did suffer from malpractice of his physician. The second was an attempt by an attorney to get more money after having settled with her employer. Because I had my own insurance, I had my own attorney.

I have also sued individuals twice. I was not trying to scam the system nor was my case frivilious. And both settled prior to going to court. In fact I lost money when compared to the money I recieved.

I admit there are some frivolous lawsuits. However, a great many suits have merit. If you want to reduce the number of fivolous suits, lobby your state legislature for a law that makes the individual responsible for paying the losing sides cost. And lobby for more effective monitoring of physicians.

Nope, because I document well and provide competent care.

PAST TYPOLOGY COUNTERPART: Staunch Conservatives, Enterprisers

9% OF ADULT POPULATION

10% OF REGISTERED VOTERS

PARTY ID: 81% Republican, 18% Independent/No Preference, 1% Democrat (98% Rep/Lean Rep)

BASIC DESCRIPTION: As in 1994 and 1999, this extremely partisan Republican group's politics are driven by a belief in the free enterprise system and social values that reflect a conservative agenda. Enterprisers are also the strongest backers of an assertive foreign policy, which includes nearly unanimous support for the war in Iraq and strong support for such anti-terrorism efforts as the Patriot Act.

DEFINING VALUES: Assertive on foreign policy and patriotic; anti-regulation and pro-business; very little support for government help to the poor; strong belief that individuals are responsible for their own well being. Conservative on social issues such as gay marriage, but not much more religious than the nation as a whole. Very satisfied with personal financial situation.

LIFESTYLE NOTES: 59% have a gun in the home; 53% trade stocks and bonds, and 30% are small business owners all of which are the highest percentages among typology groups. 48% attend church weekly; 36% attend bible study or prayer group meetings.

2004 ELECTION: Bush 92%, Kerry 1%. Bush's most reliable supporters (just 4% of Enterprisers did not vote)
ANd I really like the last bit of info..

MEDIA USE:
Enterprisers follow news about government and politics more closely than any other group, and exhibit the most knowledge about world affairs. The Fox News Channel is their primary source of news (46% cite it as a main source) followed by newspapers (42%) radio (31%) and the internet (26%).

That is the enterprisers, whom 75% of are opposed to the medicare for all

65% of Americans support the U.S. government guaranteeing health insurance for all citizens, even if it means raising taxes.

I have always documented extremely well and provided competent care. And it was my documentation, in both cases, that saved me. Most nurses do not get sued. And those that do, did not necessarily provide poor care or incomplete documentation. I have always had my own insurance. I have never relied on an employer to protect me, in case I was sued.

I am sorry what does snopes and internet myths have to do with enterprisers? Liberals are the ones that get their news from the internet (according to the site that cited for the survey)
