PA State Nurses Association: We Need Your Support


Next week (August 22-26) PA State Nurses Association will be providing testimony on several house bills including:

• HB 1810 (Establishing a Statewide Registry of reports relating to nurse misconduct or dismissal.)
• HB 1063 (Title Recognition for Clinical Nurse Specialists.)
• HB 47 (An act providing for and regulating the licensing and practice of practical nursing; imposing duties on the State Board of Nurse Examiners; and imposing penalties.) add language for licensing exam in English and Spanish
• HB 40 (Act relating to the practice of professional nursing; providing for the licensing of nurses and for the revocation and suspension of such licenses.) add language for licensing exam in English and Spanish

Hearings will be held at Temple University on Monday August 22 from 2-4 p.m. and Tuesday August 23 from 10 a.m. to noon.

On Monday, testimony will be presented on House Bills: 1063, 47, 40.

On Tuesday, testimony will be presented on House Bill 1810.
