HHS Awards $30 Million to Address Nursing Shortage

The Health Resources and Services Administration in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced that it has made awards to increase the number of qualified nurses and the quality of nursing services. The awards will help to ease the shortage of nurses available to provide essential health care services across the country.
Programs that will receive funding include the following:
Advanced Education Nursing Traineeship Grants
Advanced Education Nurse Anesthetist Traineeship Grants
Nurse Education Loan Repayment Program
Geriatric Nursing Education Programs
