Question Help with MSN school interview question - candidate's health plans vs nursing

I need help!!!

I'm going to be interviewing for an MSN program this weekend and have been provided with a list of questions that will be asked. The only one I can't answer off the top of my head is:

1.What are some of the political candidates’ health care reform policies? How are these policies good or bad for nursing?

I think I have a good idea about what their plans are or at least in general where they are headed. I'm just not sure how they will affect nursing. Can someone give me a brief summary of what they understand to be the effects of the health care reforms on nursing to be?

I see that this was your 1st post. Rather than asking us to do your assignment for you ... why don't you give us some of your preliminary thoughts so that we can comment on them?

Most of us don't like to simply do someone else's work for them.

I'd suggest visiting the candidate's websites to read their healthcare viewpoints and hear it straight from them.
