ANA has learned The Learning Channel (TLC) is now contacting CMA's, through City Lights Media group, in an attempt to cast "loud and obnoxious nurses" for its primetime television series, "Mind Your Manners." We are in need of nurses responding to this TV show. Click here for more information.
I would want more information that what is given here. I don't like info given out of context. that is how things get out of control. The links above only show how to protest, but honestly don't know what the protest is about. Need more information. And just because a nursing assoiciation thinks we should doesn't make it so. Just my 2 cents.
Under ANA, term CMA = Constituent Member Association as they have more than just state nurses associaions who are members, including Federal Nursing Service......term adopted about 10 yrs ago.

That's just appalling. How about they do a show on Obnoxious and rude doctors??????
I'm frigging sick of the sterotyping of nurses! Half the time when someone finds out I'm a nurse, they just HAVE to tell me of some nurse they encountered who they perceived was mean to them (and I'm often certain the nurse did nothing wrong, she just wasn't enough of a "waitress".... grr).
The Learning Channel is the one that has that show where they RE-ENACT emergency room scenarios (with some bad acting and totally fake... ). I have no respect for that channel as it is. This makes it even worse.
