Question Allnurses members going to the ANA convention

Who is all going to the ANA convention and when will you be there? How will we meet, and can we plan to get together for coffee (maybe) and a face to face chat?
:hatparty:

This may prove to be a tough convention, so we may need some friendly faces and humor to get through it all!

Jenny and all:

I will be attending the convention from 6/27th thru 7/2 snd will be assigned to odd jobs-- check in at the PSNA booth or at the Volunteer center Room 205 B to see where I'm assigned. Anyone interested can PM me for cell phone info. im 5'2", short darkbrown hair, pleasantly plump wearing red shirt, Kakhi pants (dress for volunteers) AND large allnurses.com button.

If everyone in town Sat or Sunday evening, can organize something. Check website here for more info re details. Anyone interested in a spin to Atlantic City---only 1 1/2 hrs away. Caravan seats 7. I'm not staying in town as only live 25 minutes from convention site (no traffic). Will be onsite after 8AM daily. Hope to meet the ~20 allnurses gang attending!!!!!!!

All work and no play makes this RN grumpy!

Found her last year by the clothes she said she would be wearing. lol The allnurses.com pin this year should make it easier

I wont have a computer there so if anyones looking for me, leave a message at the Loews Hotel.

Question Got a question....

Can any nurse attend the convention or is it strictly reserved for RNs. Also, can nursing students (LPN or RN) attend? What's the cost of the convention? That's if nursing students & LPNs are allowed to attend - Thanks.

If you're not a BSN or Undergraduate Student only, & if you're not a member, then you'll have to pay the non-member fee. They also have discount registration for retired members.

Good Luck!

Student with ID is anyone in highschool, LPN, ADN, diploma or undergraduate (BSN, RN-BSN) programs.

Rational is that those in masters or other programs have the ability to earn a wage to be able afford higher cost.

Entire convention pre-registered student fee was $115 for retired nurses or above students.
