Clinic interview

I landed an interview at a local clinic for a position I'd love, Pt Care Coordinator for Chronic Conditions. I do not graduate for 2 more months (LPN/VN). They are aware of this. Since I've never done any kind of nursing job interview I'm a bundle of nerves and have no clue what to expect. Any tips, points to highlight, questions to ask, ect, would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I have been working at a primary care clinic for the last 8 months as their lead clinical nurse and also the patient educator. I had not graduated more than 2 weeks when I got the interview. After working here for the last few months I think the biggest thing I wish I could change about my job is not having any other nurses around to ask questions to or just get feedback from. I work as the only nurse in the clinic. As for my interview, they did a lot of behavioral based questions such as tell us about a time you encountered conflict, asked me to rate myself on skills such as blood draws or documentation. Since you're a new grad, I would make sure to ask them about the training and continuing education they can provide you. As lead and patient educator, I get floated around a lot doing things such as lab, being a providers nurse for the day or going over to work at our urgent care clinic. I don't mind this because I like learning about the different areas, but I think someone else might have a hard time with this just because your assignment can change in less than a day's notice. Good luck! Maybe read about the clinic on their website and that might help with coming up with good questions.

Thank you for your response. I hadn't thought about having to work in several different areas and wear many hats, we haven't had much exposure to clinic work in my clinical class. We mainly see what the MA's do, and follow them on rotation. I will definitely ask what my day to day duties would be.
