Just a quick VENT

I am one nurse for 3 buildings. ONE NURSE FOR THREE BUILDINGS. I have been trying to do hearing/vision screenings on 4 High school kids, all week. Something has happened each and every time and I haven't been able to complete the screenings. 2 of those 4 students have IEP/ETR meetings next week and those screenings have to be completed. Decided I would try bright and early this morning, thinking I might be able to catch them before the hustle of the day picked up. As I was leaving one school I told the secretary where I was headed, to which she replied, "Yep, and there will be kids in here within 10 minutes of you leaving." I'm sorry, did I mention I service 3 buildings? It's not like I'm heading out to have coffee and donuts with the high school office staff, I HAVE WORK TO DO. The kicker, I was only able to screen one of those students this morning, the other 3 were testing. I may not make it through this Friday :banghead:

Thanks 100kids! So ready for the weekend!!

You can only control what you can control. Is it possible you could make appointments so everyone knows they will be pulled from class?
