Minor to prepare for forensic nursing

I am currently a BSN student interested in forensic nursing I am considering pursuing a minor to better equip me for a career in forensic nursing. Does anyone have any suggestions related to possible minors or electives that would help prepare me for this career path.. or possibly weed me out! I'm still very open to which path I would like to take in my nursing career so all the advice you have will be much appreciated!

Hello and Welcome to allnurses.com

Good to have you with us.

Some have pursued a Criminal Justice degree to compliment their studies in Forensic Nursing.

Others have pursued the Criminal Justice degree with concentration in Death Investigation.

There are other degrees that can prepare you in Forensic Science including DNA Analysis, Forensic Photography, Correctional Forensics...

Good luck with your goals. And, we hope you enjoy allnurses.com.
