Help please!

Hi! I am currently going to school for phlebotomy and will be done in a year. I want to get my foot in the door at hopefully a hospital, then go back for nursing. I've always wanted to be a medical examiner though! I thought if I became a ME that I'd never be home to have a family, so I decided just to stick to nursing and working forensics or ER. Anyone have any input or opinions on this? Or is anyone a medical examiner and can give me their thoughts and whether they have time for a family or not please!? I'd greatly appreciate it!
