Foot Care Nurse
Register Today!- by sylvanis Mar 18, '08What specific training would I need to take in order to do foot care on seniors? Do I have to be a RN? I'm only a PCW at the present time, I'm also located in Nova Scotia.
Thanks.

but so far the sources that I have checked by googling
say for either RNs, LPNs, or PCW:
but maybe if you contace them they would have ideas:
VON: http://www.von.ca/branch/ab_edmonton/programs.html
SIAST: has distance learning course: http://www.siast.sk.ca/virtualcampus...s/footcare.htm
Sounds like there are no podiatrists in Nova Scotia. - Nov 19, '10 by sallyspringQuote from sylvanisIf you are employed buy a hellath care authority, check with them, they will have standards. What specific training would I need to take in order to do foot care on seniors?
