by madame1 Jan 19, '10I am establishing a foot care practice and have done much research. I am an LPN with a business degree, however do I need to be certified in footcare. I notice there is certification for RN's, is there any for LPN? Please let me know.

Jan 19, '10 by Fiona59Speaking from the Canadian viewpoint, you do need to be certified to do advanced foot care (diabetics, use of dremel, etc). Up here it's a course run by the VON.
I'd check with your state regulatory body. They should know if you require "advanced" training and where it is available.
