    Thanks so much ZeppHead8! It always help when you have encouragement. There are wonderful people on here and I hope it continues that way. I just hope that when I start the nursing program people will help each other out because it's not easy although it may be for some but to stick together. We should all be a family and not think one is better than the other because I strongly agree with u that we should be positive and it will send that same energy to our patients.

    How Will I Be Selected?

    All students who meet basic admission requirements will be considered. Selection criteria will be based on cumulative GPA and successful completion of or enrollment in the required program pre-requisite courses listed below:

    CHM 1033 and 1033L
    PHI 2604 and ENC 1101
    BSC 2085 and 2085L*
    BSC 2086 and 2086L*
    *Completed within 10 years of program entry date.

    I would imagine that this is outdated information (I know, hard to believe there would be conflicting information out there about the nursing program...)

    It didn't mention anything about Microbiology, Human G & D, or the TEAS test, all of which are definitely requirements for the program.

    Yes, that is outdated. You have to constantly fish around the site to find the new information and if you sit with an advisor they would be able to explain to you everything you are confused about.

    Hello everyone, hope you all make into the program you guys apply too. I wish you all well in longggggg process!!!!!!! I have a question about the program. I would like to know if you guys can recommend me to some program or do I have a chance to get into the RN program at MDC. My GPA is 3.28 and with a TEAS score of 75%, and I'am also a male(hopefully that gives a a little push with a somewhat low gpa if anyone considers it low). I was wondering if you guys can give me some input into any programs that can possibly accept me!!!!! I would love some feedback!!!! Thanks for you time!!! I greatly appreciate it.
