Register Today!- Aug 11, '10 by K nurse-one-dayWaiting-About how much is the FRAG grant? Just out of curiosity.
A- Im so glad everything worked out for you. Were the questions pretty straight forward? Im getting a little frustrated w/ FSCJ and Im really changing my mind about that program. Im very interested in JU, just a little worried about the tuition
- Aug 12, '10 by AmnaCiaYes the were pretty easy, like what are your strengths and weaknesses? Also why doyou want to be a nurse, things like that also at the end I asked my interviewer questions about what she likes about nursing and that rolled into a conversation!! I am extreemly worried about their tuition, I got the fall all set but am working my but off saving up for the spring term
! But on a positive note all these hurtles are a good thing to go through and in the end one day we will all be nurses!
- Aug 12, '10 by K nurse-one-dayThats good to know! Im getting pretty excited.Im usually pretty good at essay/interview type questions so that doesnt worry me too much I really hope I can get some grants/scholarships to help pay for it. I HATE the idea of getting anymore student loans. Hopefully God will guide me in the right direction and if its meant to be, everything will fall into placewaitingtobeanurse and AmnaCia like this.
- Aug 17, '10 by GotPhoHello everyone , and congrats waitingtobeanurse for the acceptance
, I was away for 1 week vacation , now I'm back and looking forward to next week to start school
Since JU is a private university , so the cost is pretty expensive , but good things are that they offer a 7grands scholarship to pretty much everybody , and you will also be able to receive financial aid , I would say your student loan will come out around 4 grands per semester , thats not so bad considering it's private
- Aug 17, '10 by K nurse-one-dayQuote from GotPhoIs that like 7 grand scholarship per semester right?Hello everyone , and congrats waitingtobeanurse for the acceptance

Everyone:
Everyone has been great on this forum so much support and questions answered when I needed it!! Thanks everyone and see you all at orientation! - Aug 23, '10 by munkeyannHey everyone, congrats to all who made it into the JU nursing program. yeah!!! Anyways, I have a question. I used to live in JAX about 3 yrs ago but now im currently reside in cali. so i was wondering if any of you are out of state( florida) applicants applying to the program? b/c i thinkinng of moving back there and apply to the program, but what is the chance that they will take me in the program as an out of state student since i would have to wait for a yr to become a florida resident again. Also, from the time of application to the interview, did any of you have to wait long like for half or to a year? My school in cali has a one yr waiting list for the program and i really want to finish it all off to move back to fl. hope u all can help me answer these questions. thanks alot!
- Aug 23, '10 by waitingtobeanursemunkeyann, I found out that some of the new students, that were recently admitted are from out of state. I applied in April I believe and got in for this semester. Its really hard to gauge how or what works for getting in to most programs. And to be perfectly honest with you wait list are composed of scores from the applicants, so the lowere your scores the longer you have to wait. I found that out at FSCJ, hope this helps a little.

I just moved to Georgia not even a year ago and was accepted to JU's program for this term. Im not sure if residency played as big a part in the process as did the GPA and interview. I commute daily and thanks!!! Good luck to you
