    Anyone out there that is applying to start the FAU Nursing program in May 2013? I have submitted my application for the accelerated program. It is the only program I am applying for so I am really hoping to receive an acceptance letter! I realize it will be quite some time until we know either way and thought we could get some conversation going among applicants.

    I'm in the process of finishing my application. I just need to get my transcripts sent to NursingCAS. FAU is also the only program I'm applying to. My TEAS V went well, but my GPA is just under a 3.6 so I'm pretty nervous about it. Good luck!

    Good luck to you as well! I have all As in my prerequisite gpa except stats which I am taking now and it's looking like I will have a B TEAS went well 93. something. I can retake but am nervous I will do worse and I think that's a pretty good score. I'm antsy as hell. Did you take the teas more than once? If so did you do better the second time?

    I only took it once and I got an 89% and that was 99th percentile national. With those grades and a 93, you sound like a shoe in. Did you do the optional personal statement/references/resume?

    I have a question, did u guys send in your transcript both to FAU and NursingCAS?

    I did send my transcripts to both NursingCAS and FAU though I recently re-read the procedures on the FAU website and it states that it is not necessary to send transcripts to the college itself.

    Hi! I applied as well. I have a 3.6 GPA, but only a 3.2 in the prereqs (worked full time while taking them, unfortunately). I took the TEAS once and was in the 87% percentile, but my grade was brought down heaps because I ran out of time on the math section (scored about 90% in all of the other sections) so I'm retaking it in two weeks.

    I submitted letters/personal statement and I feel mine are strong, plus I have some experience in the healthcare field, so I'm hoping that'll help me out. I did apply to a bunch of other schools, but would love to attend school in Florida (I am from New York).

    Can you link me to where you read that. I emailed the them, but I haven't heard back.
