i just wished south would send out their emails already like north has :/
ikr! i'm kinda in the dark here. with orientation after classes start i have no idea if we wear scrubs or polo shirts or whatever we want on the 24th. what do we need to bring?

someone in the program gave me a reading list for nur1020 so i can share. from the fundamentals text we are required to read chapters : introduction to nursing 1.1 relevant sections of ch. 1, 2, 3, 6, hygiene 4.3, medical asepsis 2.4, vital signs 2.2 ch. 39, 34
,vital signs 2.2 (cont.) ch. 32,health assessment 2.3 ch. 33 , this will be the material we will be required to know for test 1. it always helps(at least me) to read ahead then again when we do it in class once you know what to stress on. the required materials for this class are :

    1. bc generic module packet nur 1210
    2. three (100-question) scantrons (turn in to instructor at the 2nd class meeting)
    3. potter, p. & perry, a. fundamentals of nursing. (8th ed.). st. louis: mosby.
    4. perry, p. & potter, p. clinical nursing skills & techniques. (8th ed.). st. louis: mosby.

    4. Perry, P. & Potter, P. Clinical Nursing Skills & Techniques. (8th ed.). St. Louis: Mosby.
So the fundamentals book we need for south is 8th Ed? Cause in the book list I got from the nursing depart it said 7th Ed needed..
  3. Uhm not sure, the list I had was from jan and has 7th ed but since i was told when I was accepted in may and a north campus lecturer said that in fall they would be using the newer edition, I assumed that all campuses would be using the 8th plus the south campus bookstore list has the 8th ed.
  4. North campus has there own website with everything needed.south has to wait till we get emails.I am not buying any type of books till I know exactly wat I need
  5. Oh ok thanks

Oh okay, because I haven't gotten the email yet that's why I was asking
  10. Does anyone know how to request more money for a loan? The amount the school wants to award me is not even close enough for all the classes .I did a scholarship application but have not heard anything back.
